Join John Badia, RMF Clinical Officer at the Lwala Clinic, Western Kenya, on a walk through of the clinic facilities, including the treatment ward, laboratory, injection room, counseling room, and pharmacy. He expresses that most children brought in by their parents are suffering from malaria or skin diseases, while adults tend to suffer from sexually transmitted diseases and pneumonia. At the end of the tour, he shows us the clinics medical stocks and saying that no matter how much they purchase, there are some medications that they run out of year round, namely malaria medication and children’s antibiotics. John's salary is directly funded through Real Medicine. It is through highly qualified clinicians like John that Real Medicine is able to bolster community health in Kenya.
